A Commitment to Hawaii’s Future
In partnership with Vision To Learn and The University of Hawai’i Foundation, Advantage Kokua is a volunteer-driven effort to empower Hawaii’s youth through expanding access to basic vision care and university-level education.
Vision Care for Hawaii’s Youth
An estimated 15,000 students in Hawaii need glasses. In partnership with Vision To Learn and with the support of people like you, Advantage Kokua's fundraisers support students in Hawaii through helping to expand access to vision screenings, eye exams, and eyeglasses.
Scholarships for Students
In partnership with the University of Hawai'i Foundation, Advantage Kokua helps to "bridge" the path for at-risk, high potential students transition from a community college to either the University of Hawai'i Manoa or the University of Hawai'i West O'ahu to pursue a bachelor's degree.
